Subject: LHAS data transmission interrupted

Ladies and Gentlemen


Since day 332 the data transmission
via Inmarsat-A from our GPS Permanent
Tracking System LHAS in Lhasa/Tibet/China
is interrupted.

The problem was detected in the 
Telenor Inmarsat Land Earth Station
Eik in Norway, which covers the Inmarsat
satellite IOS for the Indic Ocean Region.

Telenor engineers already working to solve
the problem in Eik.
