Prof. Momchil Minchev passed on the
following information from the
SOFI GPS Permanent Tracking System
in Sofia (Bulgaria):

"
On June 12 this year, during a thunder 
storm, a lightening damaged severely
the AC high voltage transformer at
SOFI site. Since, we have been trying
to find an appropriate intermediate
solution and provide at least uninterrupted
satellite tracking, because reparation
of the damaged facility will, unfortunately,
take long. I hope we would be able to
to recover continous data flow soon.

Please apologize for these and further
possible inconveniences due to the
power failure.
