From: Jim Ray Subject: [IGSMAIL-2064] disruption to USNO data today Date: Thu, 12 Nov 1998 5:37:03 PST ****************************************************************************** IGS Electronic Mail Thu Nov 12 5:37:03 PST 1998 Message Number 2064 ****************************************************************************** Author: Jim Ray Subject: disruption to USNO data today The GPS antenna for the USNO IGS installation must be removed today (12 November 1998) in order to perform repairs on the roof beneath it. I expect this to happen around 13:45 UTC. The same antenna will be reinstalled in the same location this afternoon, so there will be a loss of data for about 6 hours or so. A follow-up message will be sent with more precise information. We apologize for the short notice and inconvenience. ========================================================================= Jim Ray e-mail: jimr@maia.usno.navy.mil U.S. Naval Observatory, EO Dept. phone : 202-762-1444 3450 Massachusetts Avenue, NW fax : 202-762-1563 Washington, DC 20392-5420 ========================================================================= [Mailed From: Jim Ray (USNO 202-762-1444) ]
