According to Jim Holston at AOA , this version addresses "communications management issues we found when receiver-to- computer communications are conducted using script files related to communications programs such as ProComm. Version 3.3.32.4 has been optimized for use in such conditions." We are hopeful that this update will greatly reduce the interruptions in data collection that have occurred since the ACT receiver was installed October 1999. Since that time, the receiver has stopped about once a week during the daily data offload process.
