Brockmann, M. Piraszewski Subject: JOZE height problems if using a dome Dear Colleagues, Recently we found problems in our daily solutions for JOZE in the Up direction. Outliers between -7 and +10 cm have been detected. Below you can find the residuals in the North, East and Up components for the days 357 (1994) to 021 (1995). The reason for this is quite astonishing: At all days with these excursions a plexiglass dome was placed above the antenna. These days are marked in the table below with '======'. The reason for this is probably remaining snow on the dome or may be also a different humidity under the dome. For the purposes of IGS it is important if similar problems are known for other IGS antennas with a dome. Any comments and suggestions are very appreciated. From DOY 029 the dome is removed from the antenna.
