We would like to propose the following site for inclusion into the IGS network. Site 4-Char ID : NAUR IERS DOMES No. : 50701M001 Location : Nauru Approx. Position : -00 33 06.20 : +166 55 32.00 2. The station was installed in July 2003 and is currently operational. The site under went a refurbishment in July 2010 where a modern GNSS antenna and receiver were installed. 3. The station is managed and maintained by Geoscience Australia. 4. The station has been operating for 10 years and has funding secured for a further 10 years. 5. The station does not replace an existing IGS stations. 6. The station meets all required IGS guidelines. 7. Data products will be delivered: a. Daily RINEX (generally < 2 hours latency), b. High-rate RINEX (generally < 3 minutes latency), c. RTCM3 stream via GA NTRIP caster (generally < 2 secs latency). 8. The receiver has been set for all in view tracking for GPS and GLONASS satellites. 9. There is one IGS stations within a 1000 km radius: a. KWJ1 1000 km 10. This site (along with a number of others being proposed for inclusion into IGS by Geoscience Australia) will help to improve the realisation of the ITRF across the South Pacific region. The site is part of the TIGA project and has a long time-series of precise level connections between the GNSS antenna and nearby acoustic tide gauge. The site has a modern receiver and antenna that is capable of tracking the modern GPS signals, GLONASS, GALILEO, COMPASS and QZSS. The site has been picked and is used by a number of IGS analysis centres, and we have had requests for it (and a number of other sites in our South Pacific network) to be included in IGS. 11. As the country is small this station provides one of the few links between ITRF and the local datum. 12. A webpage for the station can be found at: http://www.ga.gov.au/geodesy/slm/spslcmp/network.jsp 13. The entire data archive for the station can be found at: ftp.ga.gov.au/geodesy-outgoing/gnss/data/ 14. The site log is attached, but can also be found at: ftp.ga.gov.au/geodesy-outgoing/gnss/logs/ 15. The sites 4-char ID is NAUR. 16. Data will be submitted to CDDIS and SIO.
