Not a replacement.

Yes, several in the DC area run by the USNO.

This is in the National radio quiet zone, protected from radio
interference or malicious GPS signal jamming as might be found in a major
metropolitan area.
There are two radio telescopes on the site whose positions have been
determined very accurately by VLBI; we hope to tie the GPS into their
positions with a ground survey.

> What IGS product or project will this site benefit, based on its
location, instrumentation, and latency?
GPS + GLONASS.

> Is this station intended to tie a national datum to the ITRF?
WVGB is part of West Virginia Real Time Network, will be submitted to NGS
for consideration in the national CORS.
