Subject: DAVIS status

The GPS receiver at Davis has died and is beyond repair.
Due to Antarctic shipping schedules it will not be possible
to replace this receiver till mid December. It is our highest 
priority for this Antarctic summer season and we will do
it as soon as logistics allow.

We regret any inconvenience caused.
