As announced in IGSMail 1686 (September 19, 1997) we would like to remind you
to send your final comments (if any) about the use of the Hatanaka RINEX
compression algorithms and programs to

                 gurtner @ aiub.unibe.ch

If there is no strong and substantial opposition we will propose to the IGS
Governing Board at its next meeting in December 1997 to officially introduce
the Hatanaka compression for the IGS tracking data exchange, according to
the schedule outlined in the above mentioned IGSMail.
