Subject: SOPAC ftp outage (planned)

To the GPS community,

SOPAC's public ftp service (ftp://lox.ucsd.edu) will be entirely
unavailable from approximately

	2001/188/15:00 UTC until 2001/189/00:00 UTC

	(8:00am PST Sat 07/07/2001 through 5:00pm PST Sat 07/07/2001).

Major electrical work is planned by the University of California, San
Diego for one of the buildings in which SOPAC has the majority of it's
computer systems.  This outage should not affect our HTTP server
(http://sopac.ucsd.edu) apart from some pages generated from our DBMS,
which _will_ also be down during this time.

SOPAC sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
