Subject: GPS IIR-M parameters
Dear colleagues,
The first modernized GPS satellite ( PRN17; Block IIR-M1; launched 25 Sep 2005)
with the new GPS civil signal, L2C, has the following parameters:
SVN53/PRN17:
Mass = 1132.75 kg
Antenna phase center offsets
X = -9.957e-3 m
Y = 5.994e-3 m
Z = -1.006e-1 m
(according to 2SOPS; forwarded by Yoaz Bar-Sever/JPL)
Having only small differences to the IGS standard (relative antenna model)
for the antenna offsets those standard values for Block IIR (0.0, 0.0, 0.0m)
should be used in the orbit modelling.
Best regards
Gerd Gendt
