Dear IGS Colleagues,

Site BDOS in Barbados was added to the IGS network today. This site is near the former site BARB and has been operational for some time. Giovanni Sella of the NGS has notified me that a trip is planned in the near future, to improve data delivery and potentially remove the radome.

Site WTZS in Wettzell was added to the IGS network today. This receiver is connected to a hydrogen maser and will therefore benefit the IGS timescale. WTZS was installed closer to the maser than the other Wettzell receivers, to minimize cable and amplifier effects, and therefore is expected to have better performance for the timescale.

-Note- WTZR remains the IGS Reference Frame station at Wettzell. WTZS should be added to ACs' analysis lists if possible for the benefit of the timescale.

You will start to see WTZS and BDOS appear in IGS lists and maps over the next day or so.

Best regards,
Angie
