2) Site Communications Update
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
As noted in IGS Station Mail 214 (2004-10-22) we were experiencing
communication problems to the site. These have been traced to moisture in
the communication (telephone) lines to the site. The provider has assured us
that these lines will be replaced as soon as practically possible. In the
meantime we may experience intermittant problems, including disruption to
the tracking as the noise does occasionally affect this type of receiver. We
will endeavour to keep these to a minimum but appreciate your patience until
the issue gets resolved - the onet of colder temperature may help to
alleviate the problem in the interim (one can hope).
Best Regards
Mike
