Dear Colleagues,
Ref. [IGSSTATION-609].
The GPS data collection computer at the Galapagos (GLPS) IGS station has been
replaced, and data is again available from the data centers. New data has been
published starting November 01, 2005 (2005.305) 21:08:27 UTC.
We would also like to acknowledge the help and assistance from the personnel at
the Charles Darwin Foundation in facilitating equipment shipping and computer
swapping.
We apologize for the inconvenience this outage may have caused.
Maintenance and operations of the GLPS station is a collaborative effort
supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and the Charles Darwin Foundation, with funding
provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area - Science Mission
Directorate.
Best regards,
-Oivind Ruud
