Dear Colleagues,
Ref. [IGSSTATION-953].
The faulty GPS antenna at the Dededo, Guam (GUAM) station has been
replaced with a new Ashtech chokering antenna. New and backlogged data
are again available from the data centers. There was unfortunately a
data gap between May 17th (2006.137) 07:00Z - May 22nd (2006.142)
00:00Z. An updated log has been submitted to the IGS.
We apologize for the inconvenience this outage may have caused.
We would also like to acknowledge the help of our local contact at the
Guam Seismic Observatory in restoring operations so quickly.
Maintenance and operations of the GUAM station is a collaborative effort
supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and the Guam Seismic Observatory with funding
provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area - Science
Mission Directorate.
Best regards,
-Oivind Ruud
