Dear Colleagues,
The McMurdo, Ross Island (MCM4) station had a short data outage on
February 7th (2008.038) 00:00 - 00:07 UTC. The antenna cable was
disconnected at the receiver end and re-routed through a new bulkhead
connector in the building housing the GPS equipment. The antenna and
radome were not disturbed. An updated log has been submitted to the
IGS-CB regarding the new cable routing and the length of the antenna cable.
We apologize for the inconvenience this outage may have caused.
Maintenance and operations of the MCM4 station is a collaborative effort
supported by JPL and UNAVCO with funding provided by NASA's Earth
Surface and Interior Focus Area - Science Mission Directorate.
Best regards,
-Oivind Ruud
