Automatic email site log testing

(prepared by Angelyn Moore, Deputy Director, IGSCB)

Procedures for Submitting Site Logs via email

IGS Site Logs may now be tested by an automatic email system which will parse the log and send you a reply indicating if there were any critical omissions or format errors.

To use the site log testing system, email your site log to sitelog-submissions-test @ igscb.jpl.nasa.gov. Your site log should be included as plain ASCII text. The system will discard headers and any information preceding the line including the text "XXXX Site Information Form"; however, you should avoid having ANY material (including signatures, etc) AFTER the site log in the email.

You will receive a return email informing you of whether your submission passed the site log parser. If it did not, the problematic lines will be shown to you in the email.

When you are ready to submit a site log to the IGS, email it as plain ASCII text to igscb @ igscb.jpl.nasa.gov.

We hope you find this function convenient. Any problems suggestions, or comments you may have should be directed to igscb @ igscb.jpl.nasa.gov.
