"SP3c" Extended Standard Product 3 Orbit Format
Why?To improve the available accuracy information and provide other extensions
When?Now! The change has occurred with ultra/rapid products in week 1360; for finals in week 1357.
What should I do? Support SP3c. A Perl script to convert sp3c to sp3a is available in IGSMail 5000. A C program was announced in IGSMail 5294.

Site Logs
Why?In support of GLONASS stations and to improve geophysical information available in the site logs
When?Switchover took place June 11, 2002
What should I do? Use the new site log format. For background, see IGSMail 3900 and IGSMail 3930.

GPS/GLONASS RINEX 2.1.0 data
Why?In support of GLONASS stations. This is not a truly new format, but mixed files have not before been available in the IGS data flow.
When?Now
What should I do? Make sure your software either handles or discards GLONASS records appropriately..
